Rulers, not Gods
Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Humanity was created to rule the world God gifted us. We, as we still do, over work the goals unto ruling each other, ruling the gifts He offers and letting the image destroy the reality of our limits. Caretakers are not the owners of the property or valuables, but have limited roles in their care. We have come to rule the land, sea, air and space of our earth to the place where we have forgotten, as did Adam, the Kings of Israel and our nations, that we were only caretakers for our Lord. Images are only reflections of the real things. The expanse of the image into a form of creator was the fall of the past and to this day of history. Let us rule what we are given with a responsibility to the One who made it and us for Himself.
